Why Nano Polymer Adhesive?
Unlike glue sticks and hairspray that leave residue and require constant reapplication, NPA was engineered from the ground up for 3D printing. It activates with heat (above 60C), creates a molecular bond with your filament during printing, and releases cleanly when the bed cools. The result? Important Notes for Glass Build Plates
High-Temperature Printing (300C+): When printing PEEK, PEI, or other high temperature materials on glass, remove parts while the bed is still hot. These materials contract rapidly when cooling and can crack or shatter glass. Consider using carbon fiber or metal build plates for high-temp work.
ABS and PETG on Glass: These materials are known to chip glass even without adhesive if the first layer is too close. Ensure proper Z-offset calibration with NPA, you do not need to squish the first layer. If parts stick too firmly, apply water around the base to help release.
