The Chube Hotend meets all requirements for high-flow, high-speed, high-temperature printing in a reliable, cost effective, patent-pending solution.
Boasting either a 42mm or 52mm long meltzone in the Air or Conduction configurations, the Chube Hotend is one of the most compact high-flow hotends on the market. Both versions are 60mm long before adding your chosen nozzle. With all that meltzone, the Chube Hotend remains lightweight: the Air weighs in at 69g, and the Conduction at 74g. Final weight will differ based upon chosen heater, thermistor, and nozzle.
The Chalice Heatbreak uses aerospace materials combined with a hard, lubricious surface treatment to provide an unrivaled printing experience. The thin, unibody break can withstand extreme temperatures and abrasive materials with ease while still preventing heat creep; keeping the surrounding components cold. The cup design of Chalice provides an ideal seat for the bowden tube and smoothly guides filament into the generous meltzone.
We've taken the time to get things right and to be the change we want to see in hotend design. Our design is both incredibly robust as well as thermally efficient, meaning both better performance as well as lower downtime. Chube Hotends are excellent for high temperature printing, and ideal for abrasive materials. Featuring a compact but serviceable design with integrated part cooling shield, The Chube hotend is designed with users in mind from install to print.
Chube is fully compatible with existing Reprap (V6) nozzles. No need to buy anything new, just install with a simple, single-handed process and away you go!
Replaceable and reliable components are a core feature of the Chube Hotend. The Chube Air uses 6x20-22mm heaters, while Chube Conduction uses up to 47.5mm long heaters. You can utilize your existing library of trusted heaters instead of adding yet another spare part to your shelf. The same applies to temperature sensors - Chube adopts and embraces the common 3x15mm sensor cartridge in both configurations.
Operators can rejoice that the Chube Hotend is assembled and mounted with M3 hardware - not M2.5, not M1.6. No small hardware is anywhere on the unit. Not only does the Chube Hotend have M3 hardware, but the flathead screws are torx, which significantly reduces the likelihood of stripping.
