E3D V6 Heater Block - Plated Copper

This nickel plated copper V6 heater block is an upgrade offered from E3D over the standard aluminum block. It can support higher flow due to increased conductivity and printing temperatures up to 500C. It includes an M3 grub screw to secure a cartridge-style thermistor, PT100 or thermocouple. Also includes an M3 dome head screw to clamp the heater cartridge and a pair of the needed hex keys.

V6 heater blocks are compatible with V6, Lite6, Chimera and Kraken hot ends.

Copper has more than 3 times the thermal conductivity of brass, and this copper alloy has been hardened and treated to reduce the oxidation that occurs in copper at high temperatures. The higher thermal conductivity will also slightly decrease your heat-up times and can provide tighter temperature control.

This copper alloy is very temperature resilient, and will not start to soften or anneal until far beyond 500°C, making it perfect for the high-temperature printing that aluminum heater blocks can't handle.
