Derived from 100% Virgin Grade-A Non-Toxic pellets. Manufactured to a tighter than standard tolerance (+/- 0.03mm) you'll experience consistent extrusion throughout the spool.

PLA is most hobbyist makers' material of choice for 3D printing. A biodegradable plastic derived from renewable resources (such as corn... I know we say our filament is low calorie, but don't eat it - your printer is the only machine that should ingest our filament!) it is one of the easiest materials to print with. With a relatively low melting point, PLA can be printed without a heated bed. Printing with PLA is typically odorless, or when it smells, gives off a 'sweet' aroma. It emits fewer harmful fumes than some other 3D printing materials, making it a safer option for enclosed spaces without proper ventilation.

The glue holding the filament spool together is rated for an environment of 70C (158F). If using a filament dryer or require the filament spool to be placed in an environment exceeding this temperature, we recommend printing a spool clip (Here).

Ambrosia Filament's Recommended Print Settings for PLA filament:

Filament can absorb moisture easily. To prevent moisture absorption and contamination, the packing of filament should be kept sealed and in an airtight container with desiccant.
