Automated ejection, plate storage, and bed loading for continous printing
A finished print isn't the end of the work. Someone still has to walk over, pop off the part, and reset the machine before the next job can start. Until that happens, the printer just sits there idle, and that downtime adds up fast. The OTTOeject solves that problem, so the moment one print comes off, the next one begins.
The core of the system
When a job finishes, the OTTOeject lifts the plate with the print still on it, sets it aside in storage, and replaces it with a clean bed. The printer starts the next job on its own with no one around.
That single loop is what turns one printer into an overnight production run. Stack up your jobs and the system works through them plate by plate, holding each finished print safely until you come back to it.

The OTTOeject works alongside your existing printer rather than replacing it. It has been tested across a wide range of desktop FDM machines, and the supported list keeps growing. On enclosed printers, it can even open and close the door as part of each cycle, so automation isn't limited to open-frame designs.


No skills needed beyond setting up a printer
The OTTOeject ships as a self-assembly kit. If you've set up a 3D printer before, you already have what you need to put it together and configure it. Once it's dialed in, it needs minimal upkeep to continue running.
Change the layout and storage to fit your space
Placement, overall size, and how many plates the system holds can all be adjusted to your needs. Keep it compact against a single printer, or expand the storage for longer, unattended sessions that don't need a break.


The app handles both printers and print jobs
OTTOengine is the software behind the system. It manages your print queue, watches jobs as they run, coordinates one or more printers and OTTOeject units from a single place. It's able to communicate with both the hardware and your printers, so a whole row of machines stays coordinated instead of needing individual attention.
The OTTOeject works with most desktop FDM printers, and OTTOMAT3D adds new models regularly. These have been tested and confirmed working.
