Milo V2 is a capable desktop mill without the proprietary black box. This LDO kit includes the parts to build it, with full documentation from Millennium Machines. It cuts a wide range of materials and can be maintained with hand tools instead of a service contract.

Steel is on the table with conservative cuts, sensible feeds and speeds, and a carefully assembled and trammed machine. The part shown is 303 stainless.

Aluminum is everyday work for Milo. Grades like 7075 machine cleanly, alongside composites such as carbon-fiber sheet and G10 for brackets and enclosures.

Hardwoods, plywood, MDF, and plastics like acrylic and Delrin are easy work for prototypes, fixtures, inlays, signage, and enclosures.
Published under GPL-3.0
Milo V2 is fully open-source under the GPL-3.0 license. The full CAD, bill of materials, and assembly manual are all published on GitHub, so you can build it, modify it, and source parts from any supplier.
Milo runs on RepRapFirmware, with an optional MillenniumOS add-on for guided probing, toolsetting, and tool changes. Development is public, with an active community on Discord and Reddit.

The complete LDO kit to build a Milo V2, including the spindle and VFD, shipped in two cartons.
