A3DP FXD Fixed Gear Extruder v1.1
The A3DP FXD is a fixed gear extruder featuring a CNC aluminum body, monolithic hardened steel gears, and a fully constrained filament path.
The latest v1.1 update brings tighter tolerances, improved adjustability, and a new vibrant look, with a bright motorsport blue anodized front face. The FXD's fixed-gear drive mechanism, combined with a 100% constrained filament path, eliminates filament slips, jams and grinding, even with flexibles as soft as 60A shore hardness. The custom gears are designed to handle high stress over extended use for smooth, consistent feeding.
Each unit is hand assembled with gears matched to order.

Note: A wear-in period of 500 print hours is required for the gear train! We advise the gear train be cleaned, re-lubed, and pressure advance re-set after this window. Macros are available to simulate this print time if desired.
